School Fundraising
Like all non-profit schools, we rely on tuition income, volunteerism, and other fundraising activities to support our programs. Tuition alone does not cover the full expense of a St. Alphonsus/St. Patrick Catholic School education.
Listed below are a number of fund raising programs and events that you can participate in to help ensure our school community continued success.
Fundraising Programs
S.H.O.P
Our S.H.O.P. program offers shopping certificates/gift cards for over 100 stores, restaurants, gas stations, hotels and more. For new families, and "old" ones, this is the easiest fundraiser we have - and it costs nothing. You just purchase certificates/cards for the places you already shop, and you get the full value you have spent. The stores give back to us a percentage of the value. The money earned will be credited toward your family's fundraising goal.
You can either order the certificates through the returned Family envelope, or you can come in on Tuesday morning to purchase them directly. See the SHOP section of this site for more details.
All funds raised by the SHOP program are put into the general fund, offsetting school tuition. The SHOP program typically raises over $10,000 annually.
Market Day
Market Day is a great way to buy many of the food items you normally buy for your family and the profits go to our school. You can even enter your Market Day orders on the Market Day website and pick them up at the school. Our school number is 3260.
All funds raised by the Market Day program benefit the Family School Association. This program typically raises $300-$400 per month.
Dominick's eScrip Program
Shop at Dominick's and earn money for our school through Dominick's eScrip program. Register your Dominick's Fresh Value card in the eScrip program and Dominick's will make contributions to the school, based on purchases made by you using the card you registered.

Target's Take Charge of Eduction Program
Register your Target charge card or Target Visa card at the the Target Website and designate St. Alphonsus/St. Patrick school (school code 5767) and Target will donate 1% of all of your Target store and target.com purchases made with your Target card to the school. Use your Target Visa anywhere else and they will donate 1/2% to the school.
Magazine, Music and Book Sale
QSP magazine fundraisers provide our school 40% of every subscription dollar! QSP has something for everyone, they offer over 700 of the most popular magazines in America - at savings up to 90% off newsstand prices.

Fundraising Events
FSA Pancake Breakfast
Come eat your fill of fabulous flapjacks at one of our FSA sponsored pancake breakfasts.
Mark you calendar:
- December 13th - Pancake Breakfast with Santa
- March 21st - Pancake Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
All funds raised by the Pancake Breakfast benefit the Family School Association.
Gala
The annual Gala is a fun filled evening of fine food, friends and exciting live and silent auctions. This years Gala will be held on Saturday February 11th at Bobak’s Signature Events in Woodridge. For more details see the Gala page.
All funds raised by the Winter Gala are put into the general fund, offsetting school tuition.
