School Hosts Chess Tournament

On Friday, November 6, 2009 St.Al's/St.Pat's School hosted our biggest chess tournament ever! Six schools competed with a total of 83 children (St. Cyrils, St. Joseph's Lockport, St. Mary's Mokena, Noonan Academy and Cardinal Bernardin). We had a great evening filled with chess, food and fun. Ian got 2nd place in the K-1 division. Cameron got 3rd place in the 4-5 division. John got 2nd place in the 6-8 division.
